Participants can join and fundraise either as individuals or in teams, and they can choose to donate directly to their local club, or to the PCYC NSW non-profit organisation as a whole.

Where do the funds go that I raise?

The funds you raise will go to PCYC NSW, and will be used to help us fund the Fit For Work program.

Fit For Work aims to address disengagement from education and employment in people aged 16-17 years. The program helps young people develop necessary life skills and gain qualifications that result in resilience and increased employment opportunities, while reducing or preventing anti-social behaviours or involvement in crime.

Is there a minimum amount I have to raise?

add remove

There's no minimum fundraising target, and no limit on the amount you can raise. We'd love you to raise as much as you can. Level up the more you fundraise! To help you stay motivated, we've got some amazing prizes available as you hit fundriasing milestones along the way.

Every dollar you raise will help young people across NSW. If you're stuck on how to boost your fundraising, please give us a call on (02) 9625 9111 or email us at starjump@pcycnsw.org.au

How do I update my fundraising goal?

How do I bank any offline fundraising money I raise?

add remove

I've shared my page on Facebook asking for donations using the Facebook Donate button. Will the money I raise come to PCYC?

add remove

Yes. However, we recommend you don’t use the Facebook Donate button to raise money for The StarJump Challenge, as we can’t link any donations back to your fundraising page.

If you’ve already set up a post, we suggest that you:

1. Delete the post, as this is the only way to remove the Facebook Donate button; and
2. Create a new Facebook post and share the link to your fundraising page without adding the ‘Donate’ button.

Why aren't the donations I'm receiving through Facebook showing up on my fundraising page?

add remove

Facebook donations are handled and held by a third party, so we can’t link them to your PCYC StarJump Challenge fundraising page. Given these limitations, we recommend you don’t use the Facebook Donate button to fundraise.

If you’d like your Facebook friends and followers to donate to The PCYC StarJump Challenge, we encourage you to share the link to your fundraising page on your social media pages instead.
